Teresa
Strzelecka
was born in
Lodz,
Poland. She graduated from the
Lodz
University with a Master's Degree in Biology
(Major: Biochemistry).Teresa considers
herself an amateur photographer who has been
nurturing her hobby for years but has only
become serious about it three years ago when
she first started using a digital camera.
Her primary interest is nature but she also
loves to photograph New York where she has
been living for the past 18 years. She
believes nature is perfect and the perfect
art can be found in nature. The photographer
just has to explore it and capture it. The
concept, the proper approach, the use of
light, and the composition are also
important but the main subject must already
be discovered.
Teresa has been a member of the
Polish-American Photographic Club in New
York since May 2005. She has recently
showcased her work in a photo exhibit “To
See More” organized by the Club and the
Consulate General of the Republic of Poland
in March 2006.
She is honored to take part in the Salon
2006 and to display her work in the
beautiful and historic interiors of the
Polish Consulate in New York City.
"I always hope that my viewers become
captivated by the beauty of nature that
inspired me to take a particular image.”
