I am a nature photographer. I have been
traveled throughout the United States
photographing birds for many years. Though I
visited the vast majority of bird hot spots in
North America, where I took a lot of interesting
pictures of birds, my favorite place is the
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Queens, New York.
This is a site, where local and migratory birds
live in their natural habitats. The wildlife
meets here with the Great City of New York, what
makes this site even more extraordinary. I
share my love to the refuge along with dozens of
bird watchers and bird photographers, visiting
this place from all over the US and the world.
I had a privilege to present my bird photography
exhibition in the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge
Visitor Center in 2001.

As
a polish immigrant I felt honored to be invited
to participating in Ellis Island Immigration
Museum Exhibition "The Gate to Nature ", which
took place in 2003.
I was glad to present my pictures along with my
colleagues from Polish American Photographic
Club in the Exhibition "SALON 2004" in the
Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, and
to take part in the “New New Yorkers Festival”
in Warsaw in 2004.
I have been awarded in numerous nature photo
contests in the U.S. and abroad, including the
most prestigious - The British Gas Wildlife
Photographer of the Year.
I graduated from New York Institute of
Photography in 1994.
I believe that the key to taking good bird
photographs is a knowledge of biology and
behavior of birds, combined with technical skill
and creative imagination, and above all,
patience.
